We invite you to immerse yourself in Springfield, Missouri’s poetry community. Show-Me Poetry hosts a poetry slam the first Sunday of every month at Mother’s Brewing Company at 215 S. Grant Avenue at 6:30 PM. If you want to perform, arrive at 6:00 to get your name on the list!

$50 for first place!
$20 for second place!

Poets and judges pay just $5. Not performing? Join us to watch, enjoy delicious food and drinks, and discover the surprising connection between a rubber chicken and poetry.

We’re also looking for judges and you are already qualified! All you do is hold up whiteboards with scores. Come be part of the fun!
